Parodies of Randolph Caldecott's work

This is the parody's cover, alongside Caldecott's original. For

In this case it was
the poem, which Randolph Caldecott illustrated and hence made well-known,
which then became the subject of several political parodies. (Some
examples will be added soon - watch this space...)
The parody on the left is by our former Chairman, the late John Victor Caldecott Anthony
(Randolph's great-nephew). Drawn for his Ruby Wedding on 4th April 1984,
it shows John Anthony, his wife, son and both grandchildren. The son,
Keeling Anthony, designed this web-site.
